Owned and operated by Gil and Marcy Vidler,
Sheridan Park Resort resort is in a park-like setting situated on the south west end of Sheridan Lake in a secluded bay surrounded by pristine British Columbia wilderness. We are far enough off BC Hwy #24 to give you the feel of isolation, yet a short 7km (4mi) drive over a good gravel road will bring you to your destination -
SHERIDAN PARK RESORT.

We have worked very hard over the years to keep a rustic atmosphere while maintaining a clean, well-kept resort with all the modern conveniences. We are never crowded, always quiet and peaceful. We pride ourselves on providing the best personal service possible at economical prices.

Excellent Fishing

Beautiful Sheridan Lake is situated in BC's picturesque South Cariboo on the "Fishing Highway", Highway 24. Stocked with 300,000 rainbow annually, Sheridan Lake is famous for its BIG Trophy Sized RAINBOW TROUT.

These trout can achieve a size of up to 20 lbs., with a 17 lb. 6 oz. rainbow having been taken in 1996. The fishing method can vary from bait to trolling or fly fishing and will send the angler home with a wide grin and an impatient desire to return for more fishing thrills.

Accommodations

We offer 6 cabins from one room rustic to two-bedroom modern cabins. All cabins have running water, four-burner stove with oven, refrigerators, electricity, wood and/or propane heat.

Camping

Our campgrounds provide camping sites for RVs or tents. Our 25 campsites offer a variety of locations and surroundings. Camping sites are available on the lakeshore with power and water hook-up or you can stay in one of our campsites back in the trees for a little more privacy. All our cabins and campsites have a fire ring and picnic table.

Multi-Use Trails System

We are located at the head of an extensive muti-use trails system consisting of 130 miles (208 km) of mapped and signed trails. With the co-operation of the Interlakes Snowmobile Club, The Sheridan Lake Quad Squad and The Friends of Sheridan Lake Society these intricate trails have been mapped by G. P. S. (global positioning system) and all routes have been designated by a number or a letter. Maps and G. P. S. co-ordinates are available at our office. These are year round mapped wilderness trails and are used for hiking, mountain biking, dirt biking, ATVing, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. (Click here for a larger map view.)

We invite you to come and stay at Sheridan Park Resort and explore one of the most detailed and extensive trails systems in the South Cariboo of British Columbia. Whatever the time of year you can enjoy these wilderness trails to the point of exhaustion and never get lost.
